What You Can Expect
Practical experience
As the capstone of the program, the mechanical engineering project lets you apply your knowledge and learnings in tangible ways. You choose a problem in your desired focus area and, with the help of faculty advisors, spend the semester devising a solution.

While the distance learning program is conducted online, we strive to create a welcoming, tight-knit community for all students. Your cohort will have dedicated channels for peer-to-peer and staff interactions, and you’re always welcome to visit our Ithaca campus.
